How we began and where we are today

ACI was established in 1984 to provide alternative solutions for data collection. We started as a provider of PC based data collection receiver systems and refurbished handheld computers, and have grown to become a recognized name in the industry.

Seeing a need for alternative solutions for service, we began our service division in 1989 and now have five locations providing service on several thousand systems. Since service from the manufacturer was expensive and slow, our mission was to become the premier service provider for every market we service and to provide outstanding professional service with integrity.

ACI has become a leading supplier of bar code equipment and service solutions for Route Accounting and Direct Store Delivery (DSD) within the snack food, dairy, and beverage distribution industries. We have developed long-term relationships with our customers by offering some of the best rates available on refurbished equipment and remaining focused on our goal of being the leading supplier of data collection solutions and third party maintenance. Now with a wider range of products and inventory of legacy equipment, we can provide our customers numerous options for their data collection needs.
